Reflections on the Summer

So the song linked below is the one I will hear ten years from now and remember this particular transitioning period in my life. I've linked the video and included the lyrics so that those of you who had the privilege of observing my spiritual walk this summer can see where I see the connection--it's different for everyone, but I see all of you in one way or another. There's this fantastic little montage that runs through my head when I hear this...know that I love you all =).

Sweet Dispostion
by Temper Trap

Sweet Disposition
Never to soon
Ohh wreck less abandon
Like no ones
Watching you

A moment, a love, a dream aloud
A kiss, a cry, our rights, ours wrongs

So stay there
Cause i'll be coming over
While our bloods still young
It's young and it runs
Wont stop till its over
Wont stop till you surrender

Songs of desperation
I played them for you

A moment, a love, a dream aloud
A kiss, a cry, our rights, ours wrongs

A moment ohh...

So stay there
Cause i'll be coming over
While our bloods still young
It's young and it runs
Wont stop till its over
Wont stop till you surrender

A moment, a love, a dream aloud
A kiss, a cry, our rights, ours wrongs

  1. I love that song so much. I loved it when I first heard it in (500) Days of Summer, and play it whenever I'm driving along the coast. Great song! You might like Deadmau5's "I Remember" as a way of saying good bye to summer.
